เทศบาลนครเชียงใหม่ ร่วมกับคณะทำงานขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาสร้างสรรค์ย่านสันป่าข่อย–วัดเกต เตรียมจัดงาน “Sanpakoi Christmas Street 2025” เทศกาลคริสต์มาสในรูปแบบ Street Event ที่ยิ่งใหญ่และอบอุ่นที่สุดครั้งหนึ่งของย่านเก่าแก่แห่งนี้ เพื่อเปิดพื้นที่แห่งแรงบันดาลใจ สร้างโอกาสให้ชุมชนได้มีส่วนร่วม และนำเสนออัตลักษณ์ท้องถิ่นผ่านกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์หลากหลายรูปแบบ

🌟 แนวคิดและแรงบันดาลใจของงาน
ย่านสันป่าข่อย–วัดเกต เป็นพื้นที่ที่มีประวัติศาสตร์สำคัญของเมืองเชียงใหม่ ทั้งในฐานะย่านการค้าที่รุ่งเรืองในอดีต และยังเป็นที่ตั้งของชุมชนคริสเตียนยุคบุกเบิกแห่งแรกของเชียงใหม่เมื่อเกือบ 160 ปีก่อน ปัจจุบันย่านแห่งนี้ยังคงเสน่ห์ของอาคารเก่า สถาปัตยกรรมดั้งเดิม และร่องรอยเรื่องราวในวันวานไว้อย่างงดงาม เปรียบเสมือน “อดีตที่ยังมีลมหายใจ”
แรงบันดาลใจเหล่านี้ถูกนำมาตีความและถ่ายทอดผ่านเทศกาลคริสต์มาส ผสานเข้ากับความร่วมสมัย ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และความอบอุ่นของชุมชน

ทุกกิจกรรมเกิดขึ้นจากพลังความร่วมมือของคนในชุมชนและภาคีเครือข่าย เพื่อบอกเล่าเรื่องราวของย่านในมุมมอง Local & Creative เปิดให้ประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยว เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมฟรีตลอดงาน

A Creative Christmas Festival in the Heart of the Historic Sanpakoi–Wat Ket District
Chiang Mai Municipality, together with The Working Committee for the Development of the Creative District of Sanpakoi–Wat Ket, proudly presents “Sanpakoi Christmas Street 2025”—a vibrant and heartwarming Christmas street festival designed to celebrate community spirit, creativity, and local heritage.
The event aims to create an inspiring public space, foster community participation, and showcase the district’s unique identity through a wide variety of creative activities.

🌟 Concept & Inspiration
The Sanpakoi–Wat Ket district holds an important chapter in Chiang Mai’s history—not only as a once-thriving commercial area but also as the home of the city’s first pioneering Christian community established nearly 160 years ago.
Today, the district still retains its timeless charm: historic buildings, traditional architecture, and traces of its storied past remain beautifully preserved—an “ever-living heritage.”
These historical and cultural inspirations are reinterpreted through the Christmas festival, blended with contemporary creativity, community warmth, and a spirit of togetherness.
